Merry Christmas!!
I had a fantastic day today. Christmas braai, not a cloud
in the sky, perfect weather, until the wind picked up…but the best part of it
all was having family all around. Akyere, Otua, Adoko and Paa Kwesi cooked a
delicious feast. The boys took care of the braai, and the girls did the other
stuff, I tried to help, but they didn’t need any help, I probably would have
fucked something up.
Tomorrow at 5:30 is a drive to Graff Reinet. Adoko better
come through for me, if not it’s going to be a hellish 3 days. Don’t get me
wrong, I’m excited to see Gogo, and Uncle Dini, Uncle Dedani, etc. but Graff
Reinet is bloody hot. It’s a fucking desert. I’m going to go buy myself an egg,
and fry it on the side walk. And take a picture to prove it. If we leave
tomorrow (Wednesday) evening, get there Thursday morning…I’ll likely sleep the
majority of the day, so that leaves Friday and Saturday to be bored out of my
mind after doing the duties of saying hello to numerous relatives. Leave Sunday
and get back here by Monday in time to party my face off. I swear if someone tries to ruin my
plans…imma be really ticked off.
