Home brewing. Oh how I love it. Tonight I’m making two different brews. Wasn’t exactly the plan, but my dumb ass smacked the wrong yeast packet while the boil was already going and…well…yeah. A Newcastle Brown (well imitation), and a Hefeweizen Wheat. Last time I tried a wheat – come to think of it, only time I tried a wheat – it was a disaster. Only batch of beer I have ever thrown down the drain. Lets hope this next batch doesn’t follow the same path.

Also I’m getting sick. I wanted to be able to say that this was the first winter in years that I haven’t gotten a cold. Feck. I woke up yesterday and had uncontrollably sneezes. I don’t think it helped that I was walking around in shorts the past two days. But it felt so nice out!! And today, I’ve been blowing snot every five minutes. Ugh. Going to try a pack of Larz’s Emergen C tonight and pray that by some miracle its only a 24hr…hm...48hr cold. Yep.

Also, I hope I was not the only unfortunate one on my hall to hear my across the hall neighbors having sex the other day. Zuri got so confused and scared she started barking. That didn’t stop them. I swear, it was as if I was in the same room as them. I heard it from the FAR end of the floor. The FAR END! I I thought about writing them a funny note about it but signing it anonymous, but I think it’s a bit too late now. Damn. 

Sometimes I look up and think, damn that's really pretty.
