Today has been fantastic.
I woke up this morning, looked out the window and knew it would be a grand day.

Took a LONG ass walk with Zuri as soon as we got up this morning - OK so it might have been around 11:30, but it was still morning. It was fantastic.
Got home and had a good...2 hour...maybe longer conversation with Otua, Adoko and Mama. Akyere had already gone out.
It's Otua's birthday today. She is 15.
Holy fuck. I'm fucking old.
I can't wait to go home at the end of the year. Akyere, Adoko and Otua are all in on it with  me. Mama is going to fucking freak!!!

But anyways back to today.
Went to the dog park and that was fan-fucking-tastic. Zuri and Anyu had a blast.
Zuri just got a bath two days ago, and will probably need another one tomorrow...maybe Monday.
And as much as I HATE giving her baths, seeing her having a blast like that makes up for it.
Acutally, not sure who hates bath time more. Her or I.



Drove out to Red Rocks and hiked around with her for a bit. I think next time I go up there I am going to run..HA...no, WALK the stands. Back and forth from the bottom to the top - or top to bottom - I believe Liam said it was about 5 miles.

On the way back home I missed the exit for 6th St. So I kept driving, and eventually made my way back home.

Tomorrow it's off to the Ice Castles with Moe, Alex and Steph. YAY!!
