.vermicomposting.

Who says you cant compost in an apartment? A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon a blog entry about  vermicomposting, and couldn't get enough. Within a week I had a bin all ready, found some free red wiggler worms, and started my project. It's been about three weeks now I think, and since then, I've only taken one bag of trash out. I've also noticed that the contents of my fridge have a lot more veggies. I've been on a kale kick lately. Spinach too. Yum.

 Bedding for the red wigglers

My little red wigglers that I got for free! YEAH freecycle!

I've also inherited quite a few plants. I love that my place is starting to come together and look like mine. I need to get one really large floor plant, and then a few hanging plants. I also need to get something for the north wall of my living room, and some curtains for my bedroom. I've been so fucked with money the past couple of months, I really hope that this next paycheck brings me back even again. Bleh. Every time I think I'm ok, something goes wrong. This last time was having to get my car interior detailed because Zuri went diarrhea all over the back seat and smeared it. It was gross. But anyways...this next one hopefully.
My spider plant. The pot is a teacup on a saucer!

I've been having an issue with B. I'm not sure who to believe, but it's starting to look like he is a pathological liar. I'm starting to put a lot of stuff the more we hang out, and then when I see other people we know and they ask me about stuff...it's just becoming more habitual, and I don't like it. There has been too much drama in my life recently, and it all revolves around him.

Eviction means free stuff. I scored a VHS player as well as a desk, bought the bookshelf, and now i have a new office corner. :)
