HAPPY GAY DAY!!!!
actually it's national coming out day today, but you know, same sort of difference right?
no, not really.
i remember when i came out.
first to my friend lauren - she laughed at me.
i was a bit upset since it took me so long to finally spit it out
looking back i did make it sound like i was dying or had something terribly wrong with me.
then to my friend leela. i think she asked me a few questions just out of curiosity, but that was about it.
coming out to my mom, and siblings was tough. well actually i made it tough.
i wrote them this long extended letter, telling them that i loved them
regardless of what they were about to read
again making it sound like there was something terribly wrong with me
my mom said i nearly gave her a heart attack before i finally said i was queer. they didn't care.
i guess with most of my other friends i just casually mentioned that i was queer in conversation
or they just figured it out.
i have amazing friends and family who accept me for who i am. who i have always been.
i couldn't ask for more.

I remember when you came out to me! We were roommates and had just come back from a night out or something cause we were drunk (of course you waited to tell me when you were drunk!) and you came in and sat on my bed and just said it. You looked so nervous! I just hugged you and said something like, "so? You're still Twa!" :)
And then I cried...LOL.
