today's much needed distraction came in the form of Mother Nature.

5.8 magnitude earthquake.

at first i thought someone was doing some serious stomping around upstairs...but then it didn't stop. and my monitor started shaking, and the rest of the stuff on my desk...

my earthquake count to date:  3

what not many people have mentioned is the fact that southern colorado / northern new mexico had an earthquake with a 5.3 magnitude last night/this morning. and just over 12 hours later, one hits the east coast. both places haven't had a 'major' earthquake in over 40 years.
